With the enforcement of the revised EU Waste Framework Directive, Augean has expanded on its Pod range of containerised waste storage solutions and is launching its new Poly-Pod.

The revised Directive aims to promote waste prevention and increase recycling. It seeks to achieve this via a number of drivers, one of which is the responsibility of producers to segregate their waste prior to removal from their premises.  Our new Poly-Pod is built specifically to assist the waste producer in satisfying this objective.

The Poly-Pod’s durable nine square steel grid system with integral hooks, provides the user with the adaptability of using different size bags in multiple combinations to suite the volume and rate of production of each of their waste streams.

The durable, heavy duty lockable Poly-Pod provides safe storage of your waste reducing the risk of injury to people, including children who may enter similar commercial or communal bins.

A reliable collection is part of the service where we simply exchange the Poly-Pod or remove and replace the bags.  The collected wastes are then taken to one of our sites for recycling, recovery or treatment depending on the waste stream.
