Achilles identifies, evaluates, and monitors supplier information on behalf of major organisations worldwide. They build and support supply chain communities in many industry sectors, creating unique and valuable global networks. Their services reduce risk in the supply chain and create new opportunities for business for both buyers and suppliers.
Today, with more than 175 utilities, the UVDB Utilities sector represents one of Achilles’ largest customer groups. It is a group which continues to grow, bringing buyer and supplier communities together.
Their services in this sector are used by companies from power generation, transmission and distribution, nuclear, water, telecom and gas industries. Initially developed to deal with sourcing and qualifying suppliers, today’s services are increasingly addressing wider issues, not only of health and safety, but also of CSR and climate change.
