The Cannock site operates a transfer station allowing the acceptance of mixed loads and the segregation and storage of these containers before they are sent as full loads to other Augean facilities for further processing.
A number of subsidiary processes are available at the Cannock site including repackaging wastes which are delivered to site in skips and processed to allow them to be placed into packages (e.g. IBCs) for storage and processing on site, dissolving solid and soluble wastes in water allowing storage and/or treatment on site or the storage of waste on site before their dispatch to other sites through the transfer station operation.
