Augean Treatment is proud to announce the installation and commissioning of the new container washing plant at Worcester.

This new facility provides a comprehensive recycling technology using high pressure, temperature and chemical treatment techniques to clean and recover both steel and plastic packaging:

• Removes the hazardous waste residues from inside the container
• Washes the empty container to reuse or recycle specifications

The process pumps cleaning solutions ranging from detergents through to specialist solvents at a high pressure and temperature through multiple jets to thoroughly clean and remove a broad range of contaminants.  The contaminated wash solutions are then filtered and either reused or removed for treatment.

The process can handle a wide range of containers and packages from Winchesters to IBC’s.
