Hitech has been acquired for £5.9M with a further £0.35M for the purchase of the freehold property.
Hitech operate a fully permitted hazardous waste treatment and recycling facility in Paisley, Glasgow and an industrial services operation in Ellesmere Port in the North West of England.
Hitech has developed innovative solutions for the management of hazardous wastes and additionally specialize in both industrial services and branded collection systems.
The hazardous waste facility in Paisley, Glasgow is a 2 acre permitted site providing a broad range of services which include:
- Effluent treatment
- Garage forecourt services
- Drain cleaning
- Infra-red treatment
- Oil recycling
- Oily rags and PPE recycling
- Tanker hire
- Transfer hire
- Transfer activities
- Land remediation
The Ellesmere Port operations provide specialized industrial services which include:
- High vacuum material handling system
- High pressure water jetting
- Industrial cleaning
- Tanker hire
- Marine services
- Shutdown industrial services
The acquisition comes with the existing management team which further supports and strengthens the Group’s position.
The Hitech business represents an opportunity to further expand the Group’s markets and services both in Scotland and the North West of England. The business is to be integrated into the Augean Treatment Division, whilst we will in the short term retain the Hitech brand.
