Written responses were requested by 8th July 2011.

Public Events

In order to facilitate a two way flow of information and comment on the applications and to record and take account of the issues raised, we held a number of public events in May and July 2011.

The programme was set out in the Statement of Community Consultation.

Public Consultation Days

A series of three public consultation days were held in Kings Cliffe, Collyweston and Woodnewton.

Site Open Day
A site Open Day was held on Saturday 11 June 2011. We already operate an open door policy at ENRMF.  Anyone wishing to visit the site to see how a modern, highly engineered landfill facility operates should ring 01904 654989 to arrange a date and time.

Workshop
This took place on Saturday 23 July 2011.  Below are downloadable copies of the presentations:

A summary of each workshop session is presented in the following document: Summary of workshop discussions

In addition, engineering open days were held in September where members of the public could see how the site is constructed.  The presentation for the visit is available here.

  • Feedback
We would like to thank those who took part in the events, talked to representatives of Augean, and provided us with feedback.  From the comments received verbally, and on completed comments sheets at, or after, the events, we have collated the main issues raised.   A series of feedback topic sheets on which we set out the principal issues raised, an explanatory response, and further commitment given by Augean will be available to download below:
