analysis, environmental management, health and safety,
and the requirements of our regulators. In parallel with
these industry specific skills we also need sound
commercial and business management skills.

It is essential that we maintain and further develop the skills
and experience of our staff, in order to retain and promote
our competitive advantage. We are continuing our
programme to significantly increase the number of staff who have relevant COTC qualifications, and are sponsoring other staff through other academic and vocational qualifications. A culture of training and development is promoted throughout the company by information dissemination, regular review of professional development and on the job instruction.
