Our Transfer activities allow us the flexibility to handle an extremely wide range of waste types and enables us to maximise our levels of service both in terms of logistical efficiency and by procuring the best available solution for the waste streams not suitable for treatment or recycling processes. Examples include:

• Pharmaceutical wastes – OTC/POM’s
• Pesticides and herbicides
• PCB’s
• Flammable liquids and solids

Our transfer facilities allow for smaller quantities of waste to be collected and stored at your local Augean site prior to being sorted and segregated at site for onward transfer to another Augean or approved third party facility.

The transfer routes used by our division encompass all the technologies currently available in the UK: incineration, physio chemical treatment, secondary fuel blending and specialist long term storage.  Our compliance teams ensure that each third party facility is rigorously audited to deliver compliance with all relevant legislation.
