Project Description
Greenbank Hazardous Waste Transfer and Treatment
Tullos Waste Transfer Station is a fully bunded operational yard area where both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams are received and processed prior to onward transportation to one of our internal treatment sites or through Augean’s network of third-party disposal points.
Our onsite effluent treatment plant filters contaminated waters followed by settlement and oil separation. The material then passes through the dissolved air filtration process (DAF) which with the addition of coagulants draws out the contamination and collects the resultant coagulated particles. The produced clean water is then stored, tested and discharged to sewer providing it meets our consent limits.
