Dundee Decommissioning and NORM Decontamination

This provides NORM decontamination and other wastes processing capability, with a full PPC Permit and RSA Permit in place, allowing the acceptance of all types of waste. This facility position ANSS at the forefront of the Decommissioning waste sector and to offer our customers an unrivalled mainland Scotland option for all their Decommissioning wastes, from Frontrunner wastes, NORM contaminated tubulars and other equipment, through to entire topsides for dismantling.

Our permits allow for the receipt and management of all typical oil and gas wastes with the exception of explosives.

  • Decontamination of Completion Tubulars through UHP Water Jetting

  • Repackaging of NORM wastes

  • Industrial Service Support for berthed Rigs within the port (Tank Cleaning, Waste services)

  • All hazardous and non-hazardous wastes received will be processed through our 22,400m2 Waste Transfer facility
